Thank you for visiting Velolectric.com . When we first purchased our own electric bikes a few years ago, we had a feeling we were experiencing the beginning of something really big. Not until we actually began riding, did we realize how liberating an electric bike can be. Electric bikes allow an average individual to almost triple the distance he or she would normally ride with very little effort. Doesn’t it make sense to have a choice? Pedal when you feel like exercising or coast for many miles without pedaling at all?
It seems like electric bikes have come a long way in short period of time. Like any new technology there is a learning curve that involves failure and lots of prototypes. There are electric bike manufacturers who are innovative leaders and there are the copy cats looking to make a quick buck. After testing and experimenting with many different styles and models, we were able to identify which manufacturers had the quality we were looking for. Our goal is to continuously seek out the Best of the Best and then offer it to you. We are proud to be the Bay Area's leader in electric bikes and to call Palo Alto, CA our home.
